Reflections of a Wordsmith is a collection of poems written by Tom Dalrymple who was a high school English teacher and avid bow hunter.  The poems are a reflection of his passion and love for the Arizona desert, teaching, and bow hunting.  When you read the poems, instead of being an onlooker, you become electrified by a summer thunderstorm, sense the fragrance of wet creosote, feel the coolness of an old adobe house on a cotton farm, follow the hunter while tracking javelina, and reminisce the days of hope for the future as a high school student.

Proceeds from the sale of the book will fund a scholarship in Tom's name through the Sunnyside Alumni Association's Dollars for Scholars.
